Kensuke’s Kingdom: Exploring the Unknown

This resource aims to immerse learners in the world of the film and is suitable for children aged between 8 and 11 years old. It is a flexible resource and can be delivered in a range of different ways.

Each curricular activity is structured as a lesson plan that draws on the trailer, stills, behind the scenes content from the film, and exclusive interviews with the crew as stimulus. The 2D animation activities develop young people’s animation skills from simple flick books to using digital software apps, encouraging them to develop their own animations inspired by the film.
